The Safeguarding Children in Stockport website has been designed to provide a consistent structure throughout, so users will know exactly where to find navigation, content and new information.
The website is structured as follows:-
Top bar - This includes the Safeguarding Children in Stockport branding, accessibility help, contact us, sitemap and skip navigation links. All these links are accessible from every page within the web site.
Left panel - This contains the main navigation links, which provide access to the key areas and content of the web site. Clicking on a top-level navigation link takes you to a section and in some sections the navigation bar also expands to show sub-level categories.
Content area - The central content area updates to present the page of content that has been selected.
Footer - This contains links to information on data protection, privacy, and terms of reference.

All content images used in this site include descriptive ALT attributes. Purely decorative graphics include null ALT attributes.
Complex images include LONGDESC attributes or inline descriptions to explain the significance of each image to non-visual readers.
